International students
Around 100,000 students come from all around the world every year to study at UK universities. We are privileged to have about 5000 or more International students coming to study at Surrey.
We as a Christian Union love International students! It’s our vision to give every International student the opportunity to hear and respond to gospel. We want to be able to reach out to them and tell them of Jesus and His amazing love for each and every one of us. We hold a weekly café for International students and this is done with the aid of Friends International. It’s an informal, chilled out space where International students can come and have a chat. It’s run by a lovely team of people who provide an evening full of fun and games! There is also an optional Bible discussion group for anyone interested in exploring more about Christianity and what the Bible says on certain topics. It’s a discussion group and not a lecture. So if you are an International student, why not pop down to 39MS02 between 7:00pm – 9:00pm every Monday. It doesn’t matter if you are a Christian or not! We’d love to see you and get to know you better. Come one, Come all!
